» Tampa General Hospital was the topranked hospital in Florida for adult cardiology and heart surgery, according to U.S. News & World report. The publication also ranked Tampa General 30th in the nation.

» UF Health Shands Hospital in Gainesville was the top-ranked hospital in Florida for children’s cardiology and heart surgery, according to U.S. News. It also ranked 24th nationally.

» JFK Medical Center in Atlantis was the top-ranked hospital in Florida on CareChex’s 2017 rankings for medical excellence in cardiac care. JFK also placed fourth nationally in the rankings. Two other Florida hospitals — Northwest Medical Center in Margate (7) and Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami (9) — also ranked in the top 10 nationally.
