Zak Miller creates phone app to help count the homeless

When Zak Miller, founder and CEO of Hyperion Data of St. Petersburg, learned how data designed to count the homeless population was collected – basically volunteers standing outside while asking questions and juggling a series of paper forms to fill out – he went to work on a phone app to cut the paperwork and save time.
