4G Recycling advises companies on reducing waste and moves materials from producers of scrap to warehouses and buyers

Brothers and millennials Brent and Zachary Kirstein introduced an online bidding tool to help businesses recycle more effectively by getting the most for their recyclables, part of their bid to be on the cutting edge of the recycling industry. Their company buys more than 500,000 tons of scrap per year. Annual revenue is $70 million.

The City of Lakeland is reducing its reliance on landfills by turning waste into energy. The City is working to become more sustainable by teaming up with NuCycle Energy. The partnership allows businesses to bring their waste to NuCycle Energy’s facility, where it will be turned into an energy fuel product, that replaces fossil fuels.
