Chaos Audio's Stratus gives guitar players sound options

Chaos Audio has rolled out Stratus, its latest invention described as an “intelligent, all-in-one stomp box” for electric guitar players.

Stratus provides musicians with a Bluetooth-enabled, online multi-effects platform that can quickly download new sound effects and create sounds by chaining effects together in any order. Users control the Stratus via a Chaos Audio app, which can also be used to download new sounds, create pedal board presets and access a wide array of editing tools.

A Florida reptile park has taken in an alligator that lost its nose and upper jaw to a fight or boat propeller. Gatorland Orlando said over the weekend that the injured alligator came from a lake in nearby Sanford, about 20 miles (32 kilometers) northeast of Orlando. “She had basically no chance of surviving in the wild with such a severe injury,” the park said in a social media post.
