Baptist Health facility is one of six new hospitals planned for Northeast Florida

Baptist Health has completed the first phase of a full-service, 100-bed hospital in Clay County. Built on the Jacksonville-based hospital system’s 32-acre Fleming Island campus, Baptist Medical Center Clay is scheduled to open in fall 2022, says hospital President Darin Roark.

One of six new hospitals coming to counties surrounding Jacksonville in the next five years, Baptist Medical Center Clay has been in the works for more than a decade.
