Dean Cannon sets strategy and leads recruiting at GrayRobinson, a law and lobbying firm with 14 offices in Florida and one in Washington, D.C. Once speaker of the Florida House, he became firm CEO just before the pandemic and did not lay off any of his 500 workers. He restructured the firm in 2020, fostered collaboration and diversity, and in 2022 and 2023, the firm recorded the highest revenues in its 50-year history. Cannon’s pro bono work includes assisting families with adoption representation, including special needs cases.
