Leslie Miller Tomczak is the first female office managing partner of Akerman, with 700 lawyers in 24 cities across the U.S. She has served in this role for about six years, providing management and strategic direction to one of the firm’s largest offices. Tomczak is a construction attorney; projects include a $300 million Miami cruise terminal. She promotes mentorship of younger attorneys and pro bono service, such as supporting foster youth, incarcerated youth, parents adopting children, and young immigrants seeking refuge in the U.S.
