Steven Sonberg oversees strategy and operations at Holland & Knight, formed in 1968, with seven Florida locations and 2,000 attorneys in 35 offices across the U.S. and overseas. He was named managing partner in 2008, during the Great Recession, and decisions he made and strategy he initiated helped grow revenues from $600,000 in 2008 to $1.4 billion in 2022. Sonberg, 50 years in law, favors a culture of collaboration and fairness, and his firm contributes to pro bono legal service an amount of time equal to at least 3% of its annual billable hours.
