Jo Thacker is on the executive committee of national law firm Nelson Mullins. She leads its north and central Florida real estate team. Thacker represents property owners before local governments; clients in the purchase and sale of commercial and residential properties; lenders and developers. She advises the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. Before entering private practice, she served as Osceola County attorney for 13 years. She has served on the boards of the Reedy Creek Improvement District Planning Commission and the Kissimmee/Osceola Chamber.
