Cherine Smith Valbrun is a partner and chair of the insurance defense practice group at Kim Vaughan Lerner, a diversity-centric, Fort Lauderdale-based firm specializing in business litigation. She has represented a global clientele from Fortune 500 companies to individuals in all phases of litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Valbrun represented the 17th Judicial Circuit on the Florida Board of Governors, Young Lawyers Division. She is a past president of the Caribbean Bar Association and a board member of Legal Services of Greater Miami.
