As the executive director in Miami, Lesley Mendoza works to positively change the lives of children, individuals and families in need of legal advocacy by offering free, direct legal assistance for civil legal matters to low-income Florida residents. Clients include victims of human trafficking, veterans, abused, abandoned and neglected children, victims of domestic violence, children in foster care, immigrant children and neurodivergent individuals. Under her leadership, the organization secured additional funding that led to the opening of a second office this year.
