Construction, tourism lead Florida recovery
Florida’s GDP is expected to jump to 3 percent this year, led by stronger construction activity and continued growth in tourism, according to a report from BMO Economics. It’s a stark contrast to a few years ago, said Dave Maraman, regional president, Florida BMO Harris Bank. One key difference is employment rates. More at the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
