In an effort to establish an on-going collaborative relationship with Real Estate Professionals in the community, the City of Port St. Lucie's Building Department created the Realtor Assist Program. In this program, Real Estate Professionals are invited to learn about the services provided by the Building Department and to inform Realtors of relevant Rules and Regulations, changes to Local Ordinances, and Building Codes. In addition, the sessions are meant to help Realtors identify Red Flags which may identify work that has been done without a permit and other violations. With this program the Building Department has successfully trained over 1,400 Real Estate Professionals, the next scheduled class will be held in February 2018. [Pictured: Joel A.
