Florida Poly establishes an Advanced Mobility Institute

Florida Polytechnic University in Lakeland has established the Advanced Mobility Institute, a university-affiliated research center to focus on the development of autonomous vehicle (AV) car technology. Among the institute’s goals is enabling self-driving cars to detect dangerous driving scenarios and avoid accidents.
