Escambia High School engineering students create an award-winning rover

An Escambia High School team of engineering students recently won NASA’s prestigious Neil Armstrong Best Design Award for their construction of a rover. The compact, lightweight, two-person rover was the capstone project for the 19 engineering students.

The award "recognizes the team that best designed their rover to take on the punishing Rover Challenge course, making maximum use of resources and ingenuity," NASA says.
