Management Committee Chair Jennifer Compton is the first woman to lead Shumaker, an Am Law 200 firm. In her practice she represents employers in litigation brought by active or former employees, and she litigates to enforce noncompetition or non-solicitation agreements. Compton also works with executives on severance and restrictive covenants. She is Florida Bar board-certified in Labor and Employment Law. Areas of defense Compton handles include claims under the Family and Medical Leave Act. In her community she is chair of the Bay Park Conservancy.
