Tucked within the tree-lined streets and well-manicured lawns of a quiet Seminole County neighborhood exists what neighbors call an “absolute nightmare” and county officials have deemed a public nuisance.
After hearing complaints for years and saying they’ve had enough, county commissioners have given owners of the dilapidated house on South Crystal View until May 9 to fix it or tear it down.
And if they don’t comply? The county will bring in the bulldozers to raze the 4-bedroom house and lift out the pool filled with a greenish goo of algae and rainwater. The county will then bill the owners for the expense of demolition.
