With nine of 19 Jacksonville City Council members unable to seek reelection because of term limits, some are already making plans to graduate to the state Legislature.

Council members Lake Ray and Lynette Self have declared for Stan Jordan's District 17 House seat. (Jordan can't run again because of term limits.)

Council member Reggie Fullwood resigned from the council in July to run against Audrey Gibson for her District 15 House seat.
